Since its premier on October 10, 2012 at the prestigious Science City, Kolkata, India, the one-hour “Swamiji” laser show has been displayed in dozens of cities in India and the USA. Due to popular demand, at several cities the show was repeated multiple times in India, where it was also nationally telecast by ABP Ananda News Channel. In the U.S., the show was displayed in multiple cities where Sorcar was interviewed by radio and TV stations including NPR, WUNC News Radio in Raleigh, Geetanjali Radio and Open Forum in Houston, The Foundations TV in Boston, and TV Asia. Sorcar now happily includes Chicago among the many great cities where by popular demand the show was repeated.
Chicago is of special meaning in the life story of Swami Vivekananda. On September 11, 1893 he had delivered the famous speech on religious tolerance and brotherly love at the Art Institute that shook the world. "Swamiji" laser show stole the hearts of the Chicagoans during its first display on October 26, 2013. By popular demand, the show is here again to touch the hearts of all.
