Payal Chandra Sorcar graduated from the University of Colorado
at Boulder in 2002 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Dance.
Payal now works with a prestigious clinical research company in
Denver, Colorado. Prior to this she was a Mental Health Worker at
St. Mount Vincent Children’s Home where she worked one-on-one
with children that had various psychological disorders. Since she
was a child, Payal has assisted her father in composing music for
many productions, coordinating/organizing dozens of dancers for
massive theatrical performances, and choreographing fusion dances
for multi-cultural productions held throughout the U.S.A. When she
is not working, Payal works with her family’s production troupe
and choreographs many of the world touring performances. For years
now she has been teaching children, of various backgrounds, to express
themselves through different dance forms and to rejoice life through
the arts. |
